Na tomto radici nefunguji HDD Hitachi 160GB SATA
Tento radic mam jiz par mesicu, byl by naprosto bez chyby...ma to vsak jedno ale. A tim je ze na tomto radici nejdou HDD Hitachi 160GB SATA a pravdepodobne vsechny Hitachi disky. Ostatni HDD jsou bez problemu. Uz jsem psal na support Adaptecu a o tomto problemu vi, melo by se to resit drivery pro radic, nebo firmwarem pro radic nebo HDD. To kdy to bude ale zatim nedokazali rici.
Jestli je tohle pravda, tak uz chapu proc mi cely vikend nejde radic rozjet (a ze jsem zkousel hodne veci). Pripojil jsem k nemu 2x nove Hitachi Deskstar 160GB, vsechno se tvari OK, radic disky vidi, zformatuje, vse ok.... Az do doby, kdy se pokusim nabootovat do Windows XP - ty ty disky v 99% pripadu vubec nevidi. Zajimave ale je, ze pokud vyuziji BIOS radice pro pristup (ne tedy ovladace v WinXP), tak ty disky jsou dostupne. Nevite nahodou, na koho se obratit s pomoci o update Firmware/ovladace nebo mam radic vratit???

Takže se mi ozvali ze supportu Adaptecu, shrnuto - je znám problém v časování mezi Hitachi disky a řadičem Adaptecu, na kterém pracují... Jako současné doporučení dávají použít jiné disky nebo řadič :=(------------------------------------------------Webmail Solution : 05/17/04 06:19:09 ros22187

At this time there is a timing issue that exists between the Adaptec
ATA-1210SA and Hitachi hard drives.
We are working with Hitachi in developing a solution to this problem
that may be resolved in the future by either a firmware or driver
update.
At this time we suggest either using a different SATA drive or a
different RAID controller if alternate drives are not an option.
We apologize for any inconvenience this problem has created and hope to
have a solution for this problem in the future.
