Product Description

Gigabyte MA78GM-S2H je další ze zástupců základních desek postavených na čipsetech AMD nové generace a tím plnou podporou nejnovějších procesorů řady Phenom. Jejím základem je čipset AMD 780G v kombinaci s SB700 včetně integrovaného grafického jádra. Používá patici AM2+ a je určena pro procesory AMD Phenom / Athlon 64 X2 / Athlon 64 FX / Athlon 64. Podporuje frekvence pamětí DDR2 do 1066 MHz o celkové kapacitě maximálně 8GB.

Deska disponuje jedním dnes již standardním PCI-E x16 konektorem. Režim zapojení více grafických karet CrossFire u tohoto modelu není podporován. Samozřejmostí je podpora USB 2.0 rozhraní - k dispozici je 12 portů USB 2.0 (8 přes interní konektor) a nechybí ani rozhraní FireWire. Díky dostatečnému počtu portů USB 2.0 a implementaci rozhraní FireWire nebudete mít problém připojit k počítači Váš MP3 přehrávač, externí vypalovací mechaniku nebo disk, digitální kameru, digitální fotoaparát a ostatní moderní zařízení.

Pro rozšiřující karty lze využít dva klasické PCI sloty a jeden slot standardu PCI-E x1. Na základní desce je dále integrován zvukový kodek Realtek ALC889A s šestikanálovým výstupem nebo gigabitová síťová karta Realtek 8111C.

Pokud jde o IDE a SATA zařízení - k desce lze připojit až 5 Serial ATA disků, 2 Ultra ATA/133 zařízení a jedno zařízení prostřednictvím konektoru eSATA. Čipset nabízí Serial ATA 3Gb/s rozhraní včetně podpory RAID 0, 1 a 10. Dále čipset umožňuje použití jednoho IDE konektoru a tím připojení dvou IDE zařízení.

Deska je formátu micro ATX při rozměrech 244 x 244 mm.
